Mickchick, what a nice surprise to find you posted your Margot. She is just too cute for words and she definitely knows how to play up the pleading eyes. I feel sorry for you. Who can resist a face like that?? Giver her a smooch on her nose for me, ok?

Ah Jes, gee whiz! Why does this have to happen?? She'll fight for as long as her little body will let her. They do try to stay with us for as long as possible and when her body is just too tired to work anymore she'll let you know. These dogs are amazing. ((((((Mac and Mom))))))

Boy oh boy you must have some fur tumble weeds at your place with three of them. I find hair everywhere and we only have one.
LOL sometimes I am outside gardening and a big ball of dog fluff will just fly by. Yep even outside we find plenty of dog fluff from our daily brushing.
    Goldens are such wonderful souls.

Somehow, you get immune to the constant dog hair. It's just part of their "charm," isn't it? I love brushing their tummies and hitting their "leg kick" switch. They are so easy to please. Rub their ears and you have a loyal companion for life...

Sun - I thought you'd enjoy the pictures! Someone at work upgraded his camera and was selling his surplus Canon Powershot Pro 1 for a great price, so I figured it was fate. Anyway, looks are deceiving, as the little one is quite the devil. I really cannot wait until she's spayed and starts calming down a little.

LOL! Your hellion will have you trained with those baby browns and you'll succumb to her pitiful stare.

    my temporary pet

Well, he's only temporary, since I'll have to set him free outside in an hour or two....but I discovered my unexpected 'pet' this morning when I glanced up at my window here in my upstairs office at home.
    He's so CUTE!!!!

I love all that mane! He is beautiful. In Santa Fe, we used to get bats down our chimney's sometimes - they weren't nearly as pretty as yours. But, we went out and bought a bird net to help us safely catch them and get them out of the house. We got it at a big petstore.
    Thanks for the photos.

yes, I simply dropped a towel over him and gently took him outside....he made all those funky squeaking clicking sounds....then he flew away happily.

Glad my cats never noticed him!

    Cute!
I only get to see bats when I run pre-dawn. Love seeing them flit around the lights. Not sure how I feel about having one in the house.
    But he was cute!

Wow, I'd never call a bat cute until I saw those pictures. Fluffy little guy...

Speaking of fluffy sweetness, this is Margo, last Sunday. She has grown since.....

One must not be fooled by .... Mighty Margot the Magnificent! Badness lurks behind those innocent-seeming eyes. She's thinking, "....what can I grab off this table...should I chew on the chair?....maybe I'll go pee in the living room for goofs!"

I'm seriously considering creating a website for the girls, where I can post their stories and lots of pictures.

I used to hate bats! Scared me! but that was before I read abook called "A Bat In my pocket". It is the best book to get you over your fears! A good one to read to kids too. I know they can still carry rabies but they all don't and are good for our world!
Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape.

Oooh, that will be fun! Let me know!

Brandi, I was watching some program on t.v. and the host introduced the "bat lady". She came on the set wearing two sets of shirts and bats snuggled in between them. It was interesting to see what she pulled out for the viewers.
