OK, finally getting around to this. Since I can't figure out how to put the text under the photos (it's just been an hour project for us to scan them, as something was not working), here's the info.
The one with binoculars: I was 4 and it's in front of Plymouth Rock. Yes, it's just a rock encased in a gate. 1957
The one with me and my 2 friends at the skating rink is on my 8th birthday. i was heavily into skating, lessons, etc 1962
Then, there's a picture of me and my boyfriend, where I am in a long dress. God, how did I get my hair that straight? That's in my junior year of HS, 1970, at my sorority formal on the Queen Elizabeth in Ft.Lauderdale. Well, it was really a Jewish youth group (BBYO), but in the south it became sorority-like.
The one with me in the fancy dress and white gloves is in 1966. I was going to someone's Bar Mitzvah party. I loved that dress. My dad bought it for me on a business trip to Dallas, at Neiman Marcus (they weren't in the east back then).
Then, there's one of me in 8th grade, looking very modish, with my grandparents and my brother who was 3 in the background. 1967.

Actually, I think it was a Maremekko dress, which was a popular "artsy" brand that was sold in Harvard Square.
The white dress had a pink part on the top. It's just hard to see. I wore that dress to my senior prom, too.
Too fun. These are a couple I had scanned for my older sister's xmas present a couple years back. The first one is about 6th grade, I believe that was last day of school.
Number two is 7 or 8th grade (around 78 or 79). All my fillings showing!
And last, I have no idea -- I must be about 7 or 8 here - -I don't remember the trip.

Here's one of me, dated 1964, while we lived in France, although you can't tell by the photo. Not sure what I was studying so intently...

I still hate having my picture taken, although now it's because I end up looking like I have a crooked face and other assorted deformities.
But mostly I was just being a moody and bi***y teenager in those pictures.
Jesvet, you look like you were a really happy kid!
I can do five more miles.
Hey Mimi, another woman, non-cycling for another all-women forum that I belong to, saw your childhood photo.
She nearly freaked because she also has a photo of herself and sis on 2 separate bikes in Wildwood NJ.
And, just as you did a painting of Obama, she recently sold her handmade soaps, of which 1 of the designs is Obama's face.
She lives in New Mexico, raises goats, sells her own line of handmade soaps. I don't know her personally.
This is the oldest picture I can find of me right now. I need to do some scanning.
