Not only does this new girl (with the ponderous name Tarantella) love her new home, but she is getting along famously with the previously lonely other kitty.

YES! Beer will make up for cold weather. Though do we have to ride back? I'm thinking that the ride there would be lovely but after beer and food and warmth, a genie should do the transporting back.

yes, she's a rescue kitty. was never actually wild. They caught her mother and put her in a bathroom and she had 7 kittens that night.
and she's doing just great.

I'm with you Teigyr...made the mistake a few times in riding to and stopping and drinking at Redhook in Woodinville, then dragging my butt in riding like a slug back to Gasworks, muttering and wondering to myself why we didn't plan to finish the ride and stop at the Redhook in Fremont (now, Hale's Ales is the post-ride brewery stop of choice!)...
