CWR - he's a lucky dad indeed. So glad you got to talk to family. Much love to you today, girl.

Kit - hope you had a wonderful day with H and family. You're such a cute couple.

Bmo3 - nice chatting with you tonight. Off to do my own shopping now.

Kel - sorry you had to work today. I forgot that you have a different day than we do. We cook them on Thursday usually. I didn't have to make anything this year. Yea!!

OTG - good going today. Very proud of you. You're killing me on the ride tomorrow tho. Uggh! I have to work. You have fun and say hi to AG for me.

Well, off to shop. Way behind on some things. As usual.

I sincerely hope everyone had a great holiday. Take care.

Well Happy Black Friday to all of you tomorrow.

I will again be at work but no worries, I love my job.

I am happy because it's supposed to snow a bit tonight and more tomorrow! I love the first snow of the year.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Hello V..

Are you on your way out for a bike ride?

Is it fluffy that's the training bike? What happened to your friendly rocks? Are they still friendly?

I have many many qu's to ask you but we'd be here all day...kind of like watching cricket..only more exciting!!!

I will ride today, don't know where or when yet. Fluffy is my training bike. The Legolas doesn't have a name yet. He really needs one. The rocks are sitting in the garage.

Oh, I've got until August to get ready for that. I'll wait until July to start training.

Yeah, it's pretty windy here. The Coach wants me to do Diablo repeats, while he goes in to work for a bit. Yesterday's high temp at the summit was 41 F about 5 C, with steady winds in the 20s and gusts of up to 49 mph. Gee doesn't that sound like fun.

    brrr...

    Weeeell...It was about 28c today..

I have to face the Fremantle Doctor on my way home most days. The Dr isn't a person. I'll let wikipedia explain...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fremantle_doctor

I struggle with any type of wind but i think of all my rides as training..not commutes. I make an effort to figure out how to work my way through the wind but it doesn't always work....

    A nice 20km ride in & a 40km ride home..

Oh nice and warm down there! I like warm. I deal with being hot much better than being cold when I ride. Your Doctor Fremantle sounds like the Santa Anas in southern CA. Such fun stuff.

Your commute sounds like a good daily ride though.

Time for us to start figuring out what we're doing today. Have to take the motorcycle to the shop, Thom has to go work for a bit to get caught up again, have to try to hook up with some folks that want to trade motorcycle gear with us, want to buy a new truck, want to get in a good ride, need to mow the lawn and finish putting up Christmas decorations while the weather is still decent, groceries, the bathroom needs cleaning, the kitchen floor needs to be washed... it's a never ending list. Oh yeah, I have to do report cards.
