    Freakish cuteness ahead!

CWR- more disturbing amts of 'cute' for ya:

Isn't that adorable?! I made a big 4x5 mosiac of baby penguins so whenever my trainer gets *****y with me, I hold up the baby penguin mosiac and she's 'cuted' into a good mood again. Woohoo!

I miss Knot posting drunk. IDon't drink and post@ You say knotty things. Or you're unsubtly punny. Go ahead, someone provoke me! I wanna chat with someone.

I'll chat with you Kit. Go to messenger... I gotta hear what you've got to say while you're drunk. Just can't have you doing it here.

I second what Lise said. I argued and ignored my inner voice for 6 1/2 years. I probably missed some wonderful potential relationships because I tried too hard to stay in the one I was in. But I ended up where I am, so I can't complain or kick myself too much!

Mmmmmm, beef stew. Fresh from the crock pot. Much better than the steak I tried to cool last night. Mmmmm.

Just saw a great Nova episode about the "Clovis First" theory and how there were actually 3 major waves of human immigration to the Americas during the stone age. (the first was from Europe, the latter two from Siberia/Asia)

Now I'm watching "House". Don't watch TV that much, so this is fun.

kit i could keep one? now you tell me. here i thought i had to send all of them back. i wonder if the mail got dispatched out, maybe i can break in and get that back. though its a little hard to break into the post office when you have a key.

thanks snap. very cute! (i like yours too kit, is that movie any good?) congrats on the weight loss. i lost 5 lbs on my "diet" but after today and all the buckeye's i think i gained it all back.

knot i think i'm trying to smother my inner voice with a pillow, but it keeps coming up in the bad times. i know what it says, just not ready to accept it.

I knew about the Siberia thing.....Europe? How'd they? Oh, continental drift (similar to TE TD)

"Now I'm watching "House". Don't watch TV that much, so this is fun"

Funny, I'm watching that too. Spun a little bit now resting and watching TV.

CWR have you tried smothering your inner voice in chocolate? I find that helps. But seriously, listen to your inner voice.

Knott, bummer about the bowl. Finnish pottery is great. I wonder when they do archeological digs and find pottery shards if say for example ancient Roman who broke it was saying "bummer, I dropped the handpainted Greek bowl and it was full of delicious stew".

Kelownagirl, yep, I loooooove tile for many reasons; looks great, durable, holds heat for natural energy savings....but not on kitchen floors. Makes everything a "one bouncer".

Bummer, I just dropped my bowl (no stew in it) and busted it into a kazillion pieces. It was a handpainted handmade bowl from Finland I've had for about 6 years. Bummer.

Oooh, that IS a bummer... I've been breaking more stuff since I moved into this house with its tile floors in the kitchen. If it drops, it breaks...

It is really fun to watch TV "with" someone when you're on the phone together.

Not as much fun as if you were on the couch together REALLY watching TV, but fun anyway.

w00t! I made it. It's only taken me four days to catch up on all the TD that I missed by not being online much for two or three weeks. Of course, I'm going away for five days on Friday, so I'll just get all behind again. Y'all gab too much!

I'm sitting here wondering about my new Polar cycling hrm/cadence computer. The cadence part doesn't seem to work but we have the sensor in the right place. I saw a thread about it but thought i might ask you ladies.

CC: Which heart rate model did you get? Can you wear it on your wrist, too, or does it stay on the bike? Let me know how that works out. I'm still on the fence about which model to get. I should make up my mind soon because the big paycheck comes in 2 days! Although I suspect my new crank and stem will eat up a good portion of it.

Bikingmom: I actually had $21,000 in debt after college (student loan and a used car). I worked two jobs for a while and did the Dave Ramsey thing until I paid off my last debt Sept. 1.

Update on me: Well, my trainer kicked my butt anyway. And I felt so sluggish and yucky because of gaining some weight back. I could really feel it.

He said some encouraging things, but basically something in my head just said, "What the heck are you doing? Ruining your dreams for some donuts? Not smart."

So, back to eating healthier. Somehow I suspect I won't be able to relose the extra pounds as quickly as I regained them. Doesn't seem fair, does it?

I bet I'm not going to have anything to do at work today. No one is here. The time goes soooooo slowly when there's absolutely nothing to do. I should have brought my iPod, but I forgot it.
