Finding my best friend from high school on Facebook, after about a year of not seeing her there; then finding out she's now divorced from that scoundrel, and living with her first love from when we were 18. They met again, after 30 years, on Facebook.

Come on, we've got to keep this thread up with the "ticks you off" thread!

Simple shared "jokes" with a friend (Ian and I were looking at new exercise equipment, 2 pieces of almost the same thing but with subtle differences. he and I both looked at the one we eventually got and exclaimed "and it goes to 11!" at the same moment)

When my dog learns a new trick.

My cup(s) of Gyokuro in the morning.

Things showing their potential: flower buds, vegetable seedlings, monarch and swallowtail caterpillars (but NOT tomato hornworms or cabbage worms! )

-Waking up to find my dog on my pillow and my cat curled up with me.

-Watching DH mountain bike. He floats effortlessly and he has really awesome calves. Be still my heart!

-Seeing wildlife on a ride. Yesterday it was a bird day with cardinals and bluejays.

-Children out playing or better yet riding their bikes!

-My niece Emma, she can make me laugh with her wit. Plus she is so cute it is almost criminal.

-Seeing my mountain bike, she is the first bike that makes me giddy just to see her!

Oh, and there is nothing in the world that smells as good as a sleepy cat

I must agree with this one!

My last cat learned a "gentle" way to wake me when she decided I had slept long enough - she would stretch out on the pillow next to me and very gently stroke my cheek with soft paws and purr very loudly. I couldn't ignore her and go back to sleep either - if I rolled over then she would move with me and mix a soft meow with the purring... The memory of this makes me smile.

I love riding my bike no matter when, where or the weather
I love the sound of the wind in my wheels and the hum of my tires on the road
I love being out in nature
I love my husband/sag guy who takes such good care of me, my three cats and my corgie.
I love my 3 children who are all turning into charming intelligent independent adults.

Hearing a favorite song on the radio for the first time in a long time

Polishing up the bike so it's nice and shiny (knowing it won't stay that way! )

My climbing Cecile Brunner rose in full bloom on the gazebo

Attack cat "helping" me get dressed in the morning. Keeping a piece of ribbon handy saves clothes.

Kitties or Doggies in full tilt PLAY! mode. Anything will amuse them, and nothing is safe.

Honeybees. Pretty much a guaranteed smile and spiritual deepening any time I see even one. The one time a swarm approached and passed around me while I was out in my garden was AMAZING.

    - Sleeping with the windows open and the feeling of fresh spring air on your skin in the morning.
    - My love making me coffee with sugar and warm soy milk every morning, just so I can stay in bed a couple more minutes.
    - Taking fresh-baked cookies down to the bike shop he works at.
    - Spending an entire afternoon reading a good book on the porch.
    - Doing the cross-word with my dad.
