Yeah, like "I am a vegetarian. Yup, I don't even eat chicken." Duh. People can be so dense. Hope the date works. I have a few friends who are married to their match.com matches.

Thanks! Like the new one? It's sort of an homage to evolution and to Star Trek. Was having an offline discussion with one of our friends and kvetching about some of the hypocrisy w/ the BJ folks and needed to find a Darwinian sort of reference...

I do like it. That guy who played "Q" was a friend of mine's acting teacher once. My brush with fame. Also, my aunt was named for my grandma's best friend, Ernest Hemmingway's sister. My middle name is "Carol" for my aunt. Six degrees, and all that.

Sorry, guys, but everytime I see "BJ", I think of the other thing that's an abbreviation for.

Sov got. (about all I remember of my Swedish. It means "sleep well")

Lise - WOW. You know Q (indirectly)????!!! You are my hero! I seriously love that guy - the actor Delancie and the character.

Trek - long story. Got a wee bit censored at the BJ. AGAIN!!! (And not Lise's "BJ"). Online - offline. You're right. I am cyber-confused.

Wait! Greatest hits of the 80s?! Is that included in my order, or do I have to order more AV gear to get that fabulous deal?

Hey! The cute guy from match called me back! I say cute...his pictures are cute. He has one that looks like him now, and one that looks like him 20 years ago. What's that about? He's a professional photographer. I had called the number for his studio instead of his cell number. At 10:30 he checked his messages at the studio to see if I'd called there. Wow. A guy waiting by the phone for *me* Had a fun talk with him.

WHY two at once? The other guy seems cool, too, and the fact of him being in recovery could be a plus or a minus...oh, man, not enough info, yet trying to analyse. Trust the universe. It beats the "too many strange guys at once" phenomenon.

Just when I think I can't stand it anymore and don't ever want to meet any new guy ever again. OK, more will be revealed.

No- I always drink them except for the two that were rotten- those I poured out. I kind of look forward to wine leftover night, when I finish off all the remnants of the past few days rather than opening a new bottle. I was just thinking the other day, though, that leftovers would be good to cook with. Except I rarely cook anything- it's either frozen or grilled.

Thanks for the thought, but more like insomnia which is fine as I'm getting some work done early so I can head down to the LBS. I'm doing volunteer time so they'll get my bike work done today. Who knows what I'll be doing -- as long as it isn't cleaning toilets. Interval training again tonight and I need my bike with the aero setup.

We were watching a ST-TNG episode last night (my daughter likes it already) that was a Q episode! Now that's a wierd coincidence. Q on TV...Q here... hmmm

Lise - that is too cool that you have a connection to Q. Good luck with the guy(s). When's the date(s)??? Supercool that he checked his studio messages to see if you called!
MP - I love the signature line! And - what did you do on BJ???

No date yet, but a nice talk. I'll give the other guy a call today. This stuff is hard--all of you with DHs or DPs or whatever--go give 'em a kiss! Go on! I'll wait here! Don't tell 'em why, just a big ol' smack on the lips, and come back to the computer... hold music playing...isn't that nice? Don't you just love him/her?

My connection to "Q" is soooo tangential... ...but fun to have one at all, right?

And yes, MP, we all want to know what happened on BJ. I am too slothful to go read up on it myself over there. Or, more to the point, I can't even keep up with the TE posts. Off to work, hi-ho!

Lise "Wait! Greatest hits of the 80s?! Is that included in my order, or do I have to order more AV gear to get that fabulous deal?"

Isn't today the last day? Let the whining begin.

"WHY two at once? The other guy seems cool, too"

One of them is the back up offer? Oh wait, never mind, you're not buying a house

Nanci, grilled stuff could be real nice marinated in that wine.

MP, whadja do THIS time? I looked briefly but didn't see any closed threads

Can someone fill me in on the definition of this y'all are going by, cause the only one I know is the meaning Lise is referencing.
