Of course I have 20 photos already, but here's my favorite!! She is so calm- it took her 30 minutes to get completely out of the tiny deli cup she has spent her whole life in. I wonder what she's thinking right now.

Is it ok to join in this thread "uninvited"? If not, no problem.
(the snake photo was the last straw, I used to keep snakes too...and tarantulas, turtles, rodents, mantises, any number of crawly friends...)
I did read the whole thread first, as per the rools....

Lisa, I thought you were already here!

You see, the Cornsnake Forum people aren't very talkative, and the Hognose section of Kingsnake.com is even worse, so this is my herp chat area...

So you've been reading since September? :-)

I just wish TE had unlimited photo space for us like cornsnakes.com does. I just posted a whole series of pics of Inez there- the box, opening the box, her in her cup, coming out of the cup, etc. No limit!!

In cycling-related news, I am going down south Friday to one of the prettiest parts of Florida, all by myself :-( Maybe I should try to lure my one local brevet-riding friend, but she already said no...200k in Cape Coral Saturday. Definitely putting the lights on the bike for the end of the ride now.

CC- You're the only Crazy Canuk I know of... Happy birfday! I'd say happy barfday but you're over 21 and probably too smart for that by now.

X- I hope you can do a spring trip... though I think some part of me would die a little if I saw you on a scooter or a vespa or something...
    I'm kidding! Arrh!!! *runs!*

CWR- How're classes going? You know, you really just need to plan a vacation to Portland. I could babble on and on and you could pretend to be educated by my endless babble, then we could hit the local spa and have the hotties work on your neck. Win/win and you wouldn't have to go all the way to WVA. How's that?

    Knot! We miss you!

Trek! Thank God I wasn't the first one to say "So, one time at band camp..."
FTR, the movie "Band Camp" is kind of painful. Best to watch drunk... as with anything related to American Pie...

    Chyk, she's here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course I can't see her because she has hidden herself away. She actually would normally have much broader red areas and cleaner, smaller black bands, but she is "aberrant" which is what attracted me to her.

    http://tinyurl.com/ym4yd7 That's what a normal Nelson's looks like.

I wish she'd come back out! She even has a shed skin in her deli cup, but I am going to be good and not mess with any of her stuff. It's important to keep her cup for her to feed in later. If she is nervous, she will smell the cup and it will be familiar territory to her, so she will be more likely to eat in it.

I don't need another problem feeder.

    Happy Birthday CrazyCanuk!

Nanci-I am so sorry about your bad night. I do not like being alone either.
I just read Inez arrived. YIPPEE! I am looking forward to seeing pics of your newest family member.

X- I still canot believe you do not want to spend your vacation here. Sigh.

Knot-It is good to see you. You are missed.

Lisa & CA_in_NC -welcome to TD.

CWR-I am counting the days until you are home.

Alright, I have 3 birthdays to plan, so no time to play right now. I need a nap.

Oh gosh Dar, I thought I was doing really well with keeping up with the vacation posts. I'm so sorry if I ignored you. It certainly wasn't intentional. I just went back and looked for it. It's at the bottom of the page so i think i must have skipped it somehow. I'd actually love to go tour with someone but being such a newbie to cycling, i figured no one would want to ride. I have a feeling I'd hold them back too much. Although, I don't know the meaning of giving up.
thanks for even considering riding with me.
I've actually emailed to be put on the Cinderella Century registration form list. If I end up near Cali, I may end up doing it since it's the end of May, my current time slot goal. Gonna depend on how soon I can get cut and drilled. I typically rebound fast so I'm hoping it all works out.

    Again, sorry!
Gotta go. The sick people need pics.

    X.
