    its a halibut.

the only true way to measure how big your fish is, is to lay down next to it. if you catch one the same size as you, then you get the prize.

my fish that was the biggest in 2005, killed the guys in town that a girl got the biggest fish. 63 in = 128 lbs = me

BMO3 - I lived in Madison for 9 years and I had my baby at Meriter, 6th floor too. Wooooooooo....scarey huh? Now I live 3 hours north in Merrill. We call it the pickers up here. So you're a Mudduck are ya? (Most people aren't familiar with that term but I mean it in the nicest of ways). And, yes, I think I will have that first date! I may even break my rule and kiss him (it is project FROG after all, right?)

It kills me to see skater kids with freakin' straight brims on their John Deere caps!! I shake my head and say "When I was a kid, we laughed our @sses off at the poor dorky farm kid who wore daddy's hat to school." Then Ashton Kutcher does it and suddenly every tom **** and harry with their little skate boards and long hair has a straight-brimmed John Deere cap. Ugh.

Nonononono! Chica is NO weasel!!! She may be wicked, however...

    Dr. Kill Independent Jennifer

Dr. "Kill Independent Jennifer" 's nurse just phoned.

Here is the lovely, albeit brief dialogue:

Dr. KIJ requested I follow up with you to make certain you understand and are complying with his instructions.

    Yeah, for the most part.

You are taking the Coumadin recently prescribed?

    Yes

    You are not drinking alcohol?

No (I may have said that in a snotty way)

    You are taking your CCB?

    Yes

    No driving?

No driving, I just luuuuuve being freaking stuck at home (last part was thought in my head).

    No intense aerobic activity?

    How would you define intense?

    Nothing more than walking.

Ummmm, I am running every day.

Running?????? (Huge sigh on her part and I can hear her writing)

He did not say I could not run. (okay,I was probably a tad devensive here)

Well ma'am (I hate ma'am) your tests indicate no heavy aerobic activity.

I have not been told my tests results.

You will be discussing those with Dr. KIJ on Dec 22nd.

Then the results cannot be too serious, until I hear otherwise from Dr. KIJ, I will be running.

    It is not advised.

    Noted.

(at this point she mumbled something and scribbled something about going against medical advice and hung up).

Now THAT would make a killer card.

I did my time on 6th floor in Oct of 2002 and June-November of 2004. Any chance you were visiting then?

You may not kiss him until he can properly turn the bill of his hat.

BMO3 - close. May of 2002. You got some babies at home! How do you find the time to work out? Dr. KIJ sounds like they have the cart before the horse. Why are they waiting until Dec. 22 to discuss your test results with you? Slap them up with a Halibut!! And I'll let IL guy in on the hat discussion cuz he'll get a kick out of it. THEN I'm gonna kiss 'em!

...oh. He's from IL. Darby... I didn't want to have to say this, but..
You're a cheesehead dating a FIB. Of course he has a little bass and can't turn his hat properly. Now it makes sense!

BMo3, that's really awful- I'm sorry... I hope your doctor and his nurse manage to find and correct their cranial/rectal insertion issue soon.

Nanci, do you live near Boca Raton? We need to send someone down there for 2 days to set a display and I might volunteer if I could ride bike or meet some cool TE'er.

Kit ***whispering*** he might be a flatlander, which could explain why his bill is straight. **talking regular again** You know, no matter how you say it, it just doesn't sound right.

Lise, hope we're not offending you with our IL humor!

Not possible. We are FIBs. And you are Cheeseheads. You can't help it. Neither can we. He is awfully cute. Keep us posted!

Jennifer/B3--the nurse is just scared you'll trip, fall, and bleed too much while running and that her name will be on the chart when you sue them for what happened when you did what they told you not to do. I'm sure it went something like, "I'm documenting that we told you not to...xyz." But you can't know why until Dec 22? That's bogus. I'd say, "If he wants me not to run, I'll need an appointment this week to discuss those test results."

Nanci, the tort grazing area sounds amazing! How do you keep track of the animal's feeds, etc? Do you have a chart, or keep a journal of it? How's the BF doing post-IM?

Tonight, the three hour tour. That is to say, staff meeting. In which my colleagues need to be "heard". Harmph. Where's the "just plain grumpy" icon? I've got my fingers crossed for "let's hold it to three hours, seriously, people!"

BMO3, it's possible to run aerobically. I think as long as you can carry on a conversation while running, that's practically the same as walking!

    Nice whale, CWR.

I'm several hours north west of Boca. 300 miles.

I'm not saying feed caps aren't cool- BF wears one all the time. Just Hugh Jazz caps with the big stand-up front with the bill not curled.

Ok I am laughing so much now tears are streaming.... my DH is gonna wonder what I am up to.

I wear baseball caps pretty much every Saturday and Sunday. Its a staple in my wardrobe.

Geezz, CWR ( I mean Weasel) who would have ever thought such a redneck lived in Alaska?? And I for one am da*med impressed with that catch!

DAR - please post details. I can't imagine what dating in the 21st century is like......

BOM3 - you handled that call like a lady.

(AFTERthought - would I look like a dork if I wore my baseball cap under my helmet?? I've been wondering about that but my hubby might think I was a 'tard if I did....)
