CC - iTunes tells me Eskimo Joe isn't available in the US market. I am bummed.

My two favorite songs of all time: (play 'em at my wake, ok?)
Black Water by The Doobie Brothers
Dreams I'll Never See by Molly Hatchett
Brandenburg Concerto #3 by J.S. Bach
(I subscribe to the Douglas Adams theory of counting)

Sorry my stew doesn't flow freely through the internet. I will make more... <Knot wields cleaver with gusto>

P.S. Do not get me started on pants fitting (or not). I too have the hourglass (actually, I got the pear thing going on). That's why I'm skeptical on the north face pants CWR. I can NOT find a pair that fit. And I'm so sick of my shape these days it's just depressing. So I really am off to bed so I can wake up a wee less crabbier and with some energy to work out. I have had absolutely no energy after work this week.

mtbdarby, so I was able to see your match.com profile without the men in the black suits at work carting me away.

Nice! You're a catch. If I was a guy ... and younger.....and in the midwest....I'd date you....but I'm not any of those things so nice profile.

Kit--good job, well done. Kudos to the emergency bears, as well. A restraining order doesn't cost anything. She can call the cops and ask how to file one. I contemplated getting one against my ex.

Had a good time at dinner and the play with my mom. In a funny tie-in to Kit's story, Mom asked me when I changed my license plates. They used to include my initials, and now they're just numbers. About 5 years ago, the Great State of Illinois finally issued new plates. Some plates were 15 years old and totally rusted. They gave us the opportunity to get a new plate number, which I did, since my ex was known to call me after we'd broken up and say, "I know where you are", when she spotted my car/plates. I call my current plates "the anonymizers". Even though S. hasn't given me trouble for years, I feel safer with my anonymous plates and non-descript American made car. Oh, there's trouble a brewin' on TD again. Hi, y'all I'm back and feeling very happy. (No, I didn't drive.) A good time was had by all. I had a great Pom Martini and one of the best Cosmos ever. More than enough to rock my world. I still have all my clothes on and no one's in jail so that's good. (I think.) They couldn't do too much to me this year because of the tasteful setting. (Thank you, O Gods of Public Decency.)

I've never had a hangover in my life but tomorrow is still gonna be a tough wakeup. I'm meeting up with AllezGirl for a 30 mile group ride and lunch. She's loaning me a mtb for the trail. Very cool of her.

Kit - You did the right thing. Always protect yourself first. You can't help anyone if you're hurt or dead. A job is NEVER worth getting hurt over. Good head on ya there.

Darby - Whaaaaat? It was a completely innocent post. BTW, cheap and easy - there's a difference? I'm kidding, kidding. Swear.

Knot - Great taste in music. Except, I just gotta ask, there's actually a song called Honky Tonk Badonkadonk? (or am I still that drunk and cross-eyed?) I'd love some stew but I'm stuffed. What time is b-fast? Can I come in my jammies?

Trek - I had to read your post 3 times. Don't scare me like that. I was literally sitting here with a silent scream in my head, "Pleeeease don't become a guy, I really couldn't handle it tonight!" I'm better now. Close call tho. Thought I was gonna have to stage an intervention. ** just zip over on a SW flight, do a drive by and grab Knot, (to help out, figured I better clarify that ) snag some stew then hop another jet across a few more state lines to kick ya in the shins** (Yep, still drunk. Sorry.)

I'm sitting here realizing that I still haven't posted a pic of myself. I meant to do it sooner but forgot. Since Knot was wondering how I surf the net while I ride on the trainer, I dug one up that my friend Carrie shot - when I wasn't ready. (She cooked for me, isn't that nice?) It'll have to do for now I guess. (I know I'm gonna regret this one in the morning when I'm sober.) I feel an edit coming on already.

Well, I've bugged ya all enough and I've really gotta get some sleep now. Take care and pleasant bike dreams.

    X.

I think X is just trying to make some of us feel bad because she can read a computer monitor from that distance while pedaling. If I tried that I'd get off the trainer with sore legs, sore butt, eye strain, nausea, and a crick in the neck. Grrr, bifocals.

    And yup, those are abs.

    warning, turn the speakers down!!

Xrayted eep , now those are abs.

Yes, we only comment that you should concentrate on the HRM instead of TE TD because we the presbeopic (sp?) generation can't see our HRM display.

And yes Virginia, there is a song called:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H0TbkS1VYcE

Also don't worry Xray, Dar & TE TD I have no gender identity issues.

Oh yeah, I'd make a great guy a 5'1" short chubby guy with hips and teeny tiny hands Yeah that'll work. cough cough. Don't worry, joking, kidding, never gonna happen....every body sing "I enjoy being a girlllllllll...."

But you could still zip over on a SW flight, do a drive by and grab Knot and stew then hop another jet across a few more state lines.

Bring the bikes! I don't think my bikes'll fit either of you lanky gals.

Kit again, safety first always. You did the right thing. I'm especially disturbed by that guys comment as he left about his life being over.

I'm a black belt, I'd have done the same thing and that's get back up, keep it calm and verbal only. At least I hope I'd be smart and brave enough to do that.

Lise, the license plate stalker thing....ewww, just ewww. Enjoy the steath. Some people just need to move on.

Oh, my what have I done? Shoot, no time to edit now. Gotta head out to meet AllezGirl (finally, someone to ride with!) but just had to comment that I only surf when I'm warming up and cooling down. (10 min both) It keeps me at a slower, softer pace until the muscles are properly warmed up/cooled down. I noticed that when on the trainer, I was pushing it too far too fast and hurting my bad leg so this helps me keep it under control. And, I get plenty of laughs to reflect on as well.

Have a wonderful day ladies and I hope you all get a chance to ride today! Be safe!

    X.

Oh, and uh, thanks. But this one really is just lighting. Knot's is much more cut.

X honey, I tried the "it's just lighting" thing, and I'll tell ya right now it doesn't fly with these ladies!

Trek, that video is ridiculous! Yeah! The "country" version of that song sounds better to my ear, but that video is a hoot. I heard an interview with Trace in which he discussed his reasons for writing that song. Mainly it was just for fun. And ya just gotta have silly fun sometimes.

Note to Self: Do not sleep, you miss WAY too much on TE TD.

X-it is not lighting, you have nice abs. Enjoy your ride.

Well off to miss more TE TD fun. Time to be a responsible parent and buy food to feed my family. Augh, I would rather play. Have a great day ladies.
