Okay, here's the weird thing. I mentioned I'd been struggling with a glute strain for a couple of weeks?
I started my run yesterday really focusing on adjusting my stride so as not to aggravate it, without limping. It was definitely noticeable during the run but didn't get any worse as the miles went on.
So this morning, I wake up sore in the TFLs, a little sore in the hammies and solei... and the glute strain is GONE. No tenderness, no ropiness to the muscle, even when I press deeply (and I have to press pretty deeply before I even get to the muscle in there).
Weird. In a good way of course!
