    Dyson Car Cleaning Kit

    To disable ads, please log-in.

Stiff Brush- like an upholstery brush.

Upholstery Head- not powered, but spins a brush really fast by magic or something- great for seats and floor mats.

Flexible Crevice Tool- (when I was shopping for the dyson, the guy at Best Buy showed me why this was a cool attachment- it's the size of a regular crevice tool, but pulls out so there is a black flexible section, so it can bend almosst 180 degrees and not lose suction!!) perfect for vents, radio, under seats, dash, seat cracks. My favorite of the three.

I just stand the whole vacuum on a mat outside the car door, then the hose reaches into the car.

Ooooh - I must find these attachments! They sound most useful.

CC - the elbow injury in detail sounds soooooooo nasty. I'm sitting here cringing just thinking about it. Does she remember any of it? I hope she was doped enough not to.

I am on an endless call with a sales/research person with a company that wants to develop some new technology with an assay I developed. That's all well and good, but this guy talks endlessly... about himself and all of his projects all over the world. Messagenistic (sp?) is putting it mildly. I've heard about the gas chambers where his family was killed in Europe, his great organizational skills on coordinating multi-national projects. This is painful... 1/2 hour of this!

Fantastically well! I have the "animal" model - it's purple (an happy bonus). I have 2 dogs (both with long thick hair and around 70-80 lbs a piece) and 2 cats. The old cat seems to get stressed and denude himself a couple of times a year, so there's lots of cat hair around. The hair still gets caught on the beater bar, but that's expected. The suction power is amazing! I vacuumed the carpet and then cleaned it with a hoover steam cleaner and didn't pick up any other hair. Now that's impressive. I totally recommend getting one! Emptying the cannister is really cool - it detaches from the vacuum as a closed system and a door on the bottom drops open. No mess and no dust flying in your face. Very nice!

I don't know about dog hair, but it will pick up four inch feathers and NOT clog and pull all the sticky little poofy white down feathers away from the baseboard and suck the feathers right out of Milly's cage when I vacuum underneath it. It's miraculous. I have the yellow one, The Ball. I think they make The Animal The Ball now, too. It steers way better with a ball. It took some getting used to. I tried it out in the store for an hour before deciding. The sales guy told me that all the different models are the same base vacuum- the only difference is which specialty attachments they come with.

Perhaps that is a better term. Thanks My mind was numb from listening to him go on and on and on and on and.... about his accomplishments. It was a 40 minute phone call with only about 5 minutes of relevant information. My ride this afternoon made it all go away! I'm energized and happy once again. I even did a ton of yardwork later this afternoon. The wind was howling by then - glad I went when the winds were only 15-20

Why does Walmart have to sell Clif bars and Luna bars for only $0.96??? Everywhere else around here sells them for $1.59. Why must they do this to me???

Trader Joe's has 'em for 99 cents.

I don't think they are as common as Mall-Wart, though.

There aren't any trader joe's anywhere near here. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Still have to pay shipping. Good try! If I'm placing an order for something else - I'll see what deals they have at the time.

What's even worse - they have boxes of 6 for $5.47 which bring the price to $0.91 each. That's pretty hard to beat!
