Alternatives I'm also drawn to are the Bregenz jacket or the Cirque jacket -- also both on special but still (according to web sites) available in my size. Although ... I'll have to go home and double-check with the tape measure. I did measure up recently, tho', to order some stuff from LandsEnd, and I think I'm now an Ibex XL. (Good thing I've slimmed down a size or I'd be off their charts )

I ordered a pair of the long undies and TWO pair of Roaster Boxers!

    TTWWOOOOOO pairs!

    Ooooh, yeah, happy dance!

(I almost ordered a Zephyr... I was *this* close, but I restrained myself.)

    Ibex Classica Road Shorts

Anyone tried the Ibex Classica Road shorts? How is the chamois? Fitting advice? On sale now for $69. I'm very tempted, but do I buy mediums or smalls?

I have the Ibex knickers, and love them. I found the sizes to run large. (I wear a Large in Ibex's women's boxers and long underwear, but Medium in the cycling knickers)

The chamois in my knickers is one of those 3-D welded foamy things. It's ok, but too narrow for my wide sit bones. (all chamois are like that)

checked with FedEx: my woolie underwear is on the truck and due to be delivered TODAY!!!

(I'm still in bed, so I'd better get up and shower and *put some clothes on* so I don't scare the FedEx delivery dude off. They are timid creatures, y'know. They scurry away when unkempt nekkid women fling themselves at Ibex boxes in their arms.)
