I bought a new gas range to replace my 20 year old one. And then my faucets in the bathroom started to leak and had the plumbers out to replace it. And it leaked some more so had the plumbers out again to work on it. Then installed the microwave and my dishwasher died. So I'm going to Sears to pick out a dishwasher. I'm having a major appliance Christmas.

After a few well placed hints - ok, I went to the TE website and showed my DH what I wanted - I got a Biker chick jersey and some sockguy socks! Just what I wanted! Maybe that will motivate me to get off my behind and ride that bike. I am a wimp when it comes to cold weather, but some friends and I have been talking about doing a Frostbite Ride in early February, and that is not going to happen if we don't do some riding between now and then.

    Merry Christmas, ya'll!

My parents got me two cool things: Trekking Poles and an electric wine opener. There were several smaller gifts that were neato but those were the main ones. DOH! I forgot they gave me a balance ball to work on my core! When I sent my mom a picture I wrote "I know it looks weird but I want this!"

DH's mom always finds neat things. She got me a book on weird places in Texas, a book she enjoyes, Panda slipper socks and box of 10 different jigsaw puzzles ranging from 500-1000 piece.

Nothing cycling related. I got a rainsuit for my motorcycle, a windshield bag(also for the motorcycle), 2 - 1/4 zip fleece tops, a Yamaha hoodie, diamond stud earrings, and a watch. I bought myself a Garmin GPS(also for the motorcycle).

I guess I'm not the only 'motorcycle rider' here.

I already had my Christmas present a couple of months ago, a lovely new laptop, purely out of necessity, I mean, who can live without a 'puta these days!

So, I was more than excited when I received a super new mobile, an LG Shine...........and shine it does.

My other all time favourite present was a really unusual cat ornament although it can be used for hanging jewellery on it, bought by my little 6 year old Grandson, he chose it himself, so of course I absolutely love it.

I am hoping my new bike is on order http://www.singletracks.com/blog/?p=1333

Had some money given to me, so decided to buy a few CD's, somewhat bizarre selection:

Live And Dangerous: In Concert - Thin Lizzy
Taller In More Ways - Sugababes
The Ultimate Trance Album - Various
Buddhist Chants & Peace Music - Jim Long Uen

I forgot my in-laws gave us an ironic Christmas Ornament. It is a Texas A&M Plane being flown by Santa, tag said "Victory Express" and the plane has football helmets. We were 4-8 this year, plane must have had faulty navigation.

I think our trip to Canada(via Korea & the US), this trip across Australia & over to enzed, plus getting a place at uni are enough presents for the year!!!

The coolest present might be our drive from Port Augusta to Coober Pedy (both in South Australia) on the way back to Perth!http://www.cooberpedy.sa.gov.au/site/page.cfm?u=191

The quilt is beautiful! That is a terrific gift. I have a quilt my sister-in-law made me for Christmas one year. I will keep and cherish it forever. Your gift is what Christmas is all about!

CLOCK: I'm hoping with you! Wouldn't that be something!?!?!? To ride it or to hang it up to look at... hmmm.

I ordered myself some presents last night! I'm just that way. Maybe I'll wrap something up and open it on our "family Christmas" which is on the 3rd. I got new snow pants, a running warm jersey, new trail running shoes (ahhh.. dry feet!), and I can't remember the last thing. REI SALE BABY!!!!!! Oh I love the holidays!

I got some very thoughtful presents! My dh got me slippers i really wanted and 2 dvd's I have REALLY wanted. One called "the heart of the sea" from a show on pbs called independent lens. Really good! and "Chris Issac Christmas special". A really neat purse from our best friends. Assorted other little thoughtful gifts. As well as really snuggly throws that have come in handy since it is chilly here on the central coast! A nice christmas!
