I don't get on here much lately, but I have been following this story. I am so very pleased that your kitties are alive and well!!!!

We always insist on some additional things involving adoptions, and preopective adopters are required to sign each caluse in the presence of their witness, and ours:

- a one-week waiting period from the time they apply until the time we start the proceedings,

- written into our adoption contract is a clause that requires the new owner prove to our satisfaction that the adopted kittens or cats are well and thriving. This usually takes the form of a home visit by us at 6 months and one year of ownership.

-we also require that if the new owner cannot keep the cats/kittens for any reason whatsoever, the animals must be returned to us.

We also never adopt around Halloween, Christmas, and Easter, for obvious reasons.

So far we have been lucky.
