    She is delightful!

I'm biased toward black dogs but she looks like she is very sweet.

Our family dog was the runt of the litter and was very timid until puberty and then she became very dominant toward other dogs/strangers. She was not proactively aggressive but she had major alpha dog issues. She would dominate almost any dog in her yard, even if they were bigger.

She did not, however, show aggression toward any of our family and we could easily take away her food, etc.

So she may end up to be a lovable but good guardian!

I spent about 6 weeks without the companionship of a canine after my Shadow passed. I still miss him but newly adopted Jasmine is a wonderful girl!

Look at that face! How can you not love that face?!

Like Ana, I'm biased towards black dogs as well.

Here's to many happy years together with your new Black Dog!

    Oh, how sweet!

I lasted about 3-4 weeks after I lost my best friend Tango. I needed a dog around, so I adopted a puppy from the local shelter. She was so cute she made my heart ache! I actually felt guilt about it! Now that she's an adult dog (kind of ), I realize how incredibly different she is than Tango and I've found that there is plenty of space in my heart to love both dogs in different ways. May Roxy find her space in yours very soon.

    Roxy is SOOO cute!

I must confess that I compared a certain Project Manager at the office to a Lab puppy today. Roxy is cuter, and probably wouldn't make me spend over an hour on the phone undoing the mess...

Anything that cute couldn't possibly create as much havoc.

That's one fierce looking guard there!

Actually, any thief who came to take your bike would probably be overcome by the soft ears and just get lost in them until you had time to call the police and get them there. Could be very effective!

Thx for all those welcomes for Roxy and the well wishes! As a couple of you puppy lovers asked, here's a couple more pics of the little Diva (one of my new nicknames for her mischief side).

Roxy was very interested in this recent mail order delivery at my house... Roxy seemed to be saying, "Oooo (sniff, sniff)... is that leather I smell, mom? Goodie! A new chew toy for me! ".

"...but WHAT?!?! ...it's not for me??? That Brooks thingy looks super yummy!" (btw, sorry for blur, it was hard to rescue the Brooks and shoot the pic at the same time!)

"...well, alright, if you insist, mom... guess I'll chew this other thing... for now anyway (fur-mommy senses a puppy plot in the works and stows Brooks order up VERY high!)."

Glad you enjoyed them. I have many pics I took, of course, but thought I'd better contain myself and not be a megapixel hog. However, I thought the Brooks eating plot was funny in an, "omg, nooooo" cycling joke sorta way. Makes it a bit more legal... how's that for sick rationalization lol .
