We ate fried dill pickles out in Cambridge over the weekend. Darned addictively good things, and I'd eat 'em as a side dish with sushi anytime.

'Course, I'd probably be sick later, but it'd still be tasty.

And I grew up eating scrapple. Love the stuff, as disgusting as it is.

    Well.....that might be pushing it.
But they were more edible than I thought they would be.
Scrapple.....jury is still out. I grew up on sausage and kielbasa, so I figure, it's just a variation on a theme. But when I heard it described to me, I swore it off.

As for high fat foods and bikes...well, try a chili and cheese stuffed potato at Wendy's. Tam...what WAS I thinking?????? Ugh....

If we ever do the Wild Goose Chase again, we have got to do some research to find better eating options in Cambridge. Every meal I ate out there pretty much sucked (with the exception of the fried dill pickles and the brownie after the ride).

There was lump crab on my burger. But I think they thought "medium" meant "cook the burger to a dried out lump of charcoal", so not even lump crab could save it!

I'll be watching CSC. I'm supposed to race this Saturday in Poolesville, but I got taken out in a crash last weekend, so the jury is still out on that one. I haven't been back on the bike yet.

I may do my own training weekend in C'ville the 14-15th.
