    I hope I don't sound snarky, but how is this possible? Doesn't it violate some law of physics? (I should know which one but it's been too long. My deepest apologies to sir Isaac.)

    I can see your stomach swelling overnight (well, not literally, but you know what I mean) but not your weight actually increasing.

    But I don't have a scale, so I don't really have a clue how my weight fluctuates daily. I weigh myself when I'm at the pool once a week or so and can usually guess my weight accurately within a pound. Except for that beached whale thing I do once a month.

    Probably

    But more likely because I don't weigh myself at home. When I weigh myself in the evening, it's not right before bed. I'll have dinner afterward and plenty of water. Then in the mornings when I'm at the gym, I'll have had a light breakfast, and even my morning "constitutional" (sorry TMI) doesn't eliminate all the extra food and water.

    But even so, I do retain quite a bit of water at certain times of the month and it does seem like it ought to be physically impossible
