Haven't checked in in a while, but nothing much to report. Been keeping up with the exercising, and while the scale doesn't reflect it (122.3 this morning), the mirror does. I actually haven't been obsessing over what I'm eating like normal, and it doesn't appear to be hurting me. It's actually nice to have that freedom. This challenge has shown me it's not about the numbers so much as how I feel, and right now I feel great. In case I don't get near a computer, I hope everyone has a great holiday. Enjoy yourselves and your families!

Okay, this is my last posting for a while.

I get up at 5:00 AM tomorrow morning to leave for my skiing trip. I am SOOOOOOOOO excited.

    I LOOOOOOOOVE to ski!!!!

So, my weigh-in today was 142.0 - not great, but I won't be surprised if some of those pounds come back off after skiing for 5 days in a row!

Everyone have a wonderful holiday and I'll be back posting sometime next week.

Well, weighed in at a shade over 160 this morning. Started the challenge at 169. So, if I can lose a solid pound and a smidge by Tuesday, I will have made the 10 lbs.

The scale has been the same for over a week now, despite careful calorie counting and hard exercise. So, one of these days there will be a little drop.

Thanks, everyone, for being here and supporting these efforts!

    (Just 20 or 30 more to go...but this 10 is a start... )

    Way to go, Starfish!!

I can't even remember where I started, but I know I haven't lost 10 lbs. What I do know is that I have gotten firmer and stronger and my shoulders don't slope anymore. Yesterday I hit 179, but today it's 181.4--we went to Silver Dollar City yesterday and rode rollercoasters and walked a lot, but I also overate. My TOTM is upon me, too, so I'm thinking bloat plus food. I'm back to eating clean today, though.

We went to Applebee's this week. They have a Weight Watcher's menu that is to die for. I had a HUGE spinach salad (could only eat half) with chicken and mushrooms and a fancy chili-lime dressing, and it was only 250 calories for the whole thing. I made two meals out of it. What a bargain.
