welcome Melody! Yup, I understand that whole thorn thing - I use AirLoc tubes on my bikes and teflon tape.......kinda like suspenders And a belt!

TLK: rofl!! Never thought of that!!!

    Getting to know myself?

Real name: Anna Catharina Björnsdotter Berge
Where do you live? Visalia, CA

Explanation of your handle: Love handle? What handle. Don't have a love handle, ... think I need a lover for that

Explanation of your avatar: that is not part of my vocabulary. Should I know what it is.

    Age (general or specific) 38

    Occupation: Veterinarian

Favorite bike: My little Bianchi cyclocross Axis that I do all my training on. I call him (oh yes a he) my work horse, because I log over 10,000 miles on him with rack duffel and big tires... and he never gets the thrill of a race.

What's in your stable? Bianchi commuter bike, Bianchi cyclocross Axis, Orbea Orca, Colnago, Titanflex

Fastest speed on a road bike? 55 mph going down Townes Pass on Furnace Creek 508... on the aerobars in the middle of the night. But I have also hit 65 mph on tandem and triple tandem

Another picture of yourself or your ride? In the sierras, stopping to take pictures of flowers, deers, views. Pulling up a home made burritoe for lunch out of my rack duffel and sitting down and feeding the stellar jays some stale clifbars.

What is the biggest lie you've ever told: Can't think of one... I do not have a poker face... so I would never get away with it...

Most memorable moment on my bike: Too many to count. Maybe riding into Atlantic city surrounded by 7 motorcycle polices, cameraman in car in front of me... seeing all the lights of the city, hearing the sirenes, then riding up on the Board walk and seeing hundreds of people there to see me finish....

Most fun ever had on a bike? 3047 miles across the country pampered and supported by a wonderful crew of 10 people and 100s of fans.
Let us race with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith... (Hebr 12:1-2)

Explanation of your avatar: Don`t have one yet.

Favorite bike: My cervelo soloist - I love it. It climbs like you wouldn`t believe!

What's in your stable? Cervelo Soloist and Norco Ladysport (11 yrs old)

Fastest speed on a road bike? where? when? I don`t like to go fast which explains why I`m always last in my age group but I`m getting therapy.

What is the biggest lie you've ever told: I`m thinking.

Most memorable moment on my bike: Too numerous to mention although I recall one funny one when I went cycling with my hubby and had to cycle this hugeeeeee hill. Half way up I stopped and decided to sit by the roadside and wait until he came back down cuz I wasn`t doing it. Well, an elderly lady rode by me with an older model bike with a basket of groceries and just kept climbing that hill. Needless to say I got back on my bike and rode to the top. Of course this was before I bought my cervelo.

Most fun ever had on a bike? Going on long bike rides with my hubby who has lost interest in cycling and has taken up golfing and kayaking. Now I`m looking for other people to cycle with. Oh yah, passing my husband on a steep hill when he couldn`t do it! Of course, he blamed it on his bike, said I had more lower gears on mine!

Haha! Couldn't have described it better myself. It'd be a pretty good description of my favourite car too.
