Not only am I addicted, but my DH is an enabler! I am going to see my family in North Dakota later this month and I was only going to stay for one week, but my husband said that if I leave a week early and help my son get to camp in Wisconsin that he would ship my bike and have it waiting for me upon my arrival. Pretty cool, now I will have nearly two weeks of riding with my brother and his family and I didn't have to beg for the bike myself. I shipped it last year and it wasn't cheap, didn't think he would agree to it again this year. Guess you gotta let them think it was their idea!

My name is Dogmama and I'm a bike-aholic

You know how drunks plan their next drink? I'm planning my next bike.

When most people retire, they plan their dream vacation. I'm vacillating between an Orbea and a custom bike....

It's a little over a year away, but it's my carrot at the end of a very long stick.

I slept with my copy of Park Tool's Big Blue Book last night. (yup, it was right there next to my pillow)

Does that mean I'm an addict?

Last night I realized I have no clean clothes, but I only had time to do one load of laundry.

I rode to work in clean bike clothes, and now I'm sitting at my desk in yesterday's pants and a slightly wrinkled shirt.

DH & I work at 7am (we moved to a 7-4 so we could have more evening time to ride.)

Then, we get up earlier on weekends for a ride than we do to get ready for work
