Grrr. It fits you? How tall are you? What is your inseam? (I should NOT ask. Waaaaaayyyy too much to spend, but gosh. Lovely!).

I've never built it up, so I can't say how it fit me. My other Colnagos range from 48-51, with the 51s fitting me best (carbon C40 and C50.) I'm 5'4" with kinda short legs 30" inseam. But, I did buy it planning on riding it one day. Just others got pushed up on the list.

For everyone here - the price is very negotiable. Like I said, I would love to sell it here "locally" to one of you, so we can talk.

I'm not into pink, but that is a lovely frame. My bf had a 54cm Colnago Technos lugged steel f/f in Mapei colors. Someone brought the frame into the LBS he was working in wanting to consign it. The LBS didn't want to deal with it so my bf bought it. It was in really nice condition. He built it and rode it off and on for several years. When he thought about selling it I told him he may as well sell it before he got it all scratched up. We ended up selling it on ebay for quite a bit more than he paid for it.

The Cannondale looks very pretty. I hope both these bikes go to good homes.

That one is gorgeous too. So much so that I'm tempted even though I think it's too big for me!!

    It's a wsd 50CM, if that helps.

I wonder if it was due to a very offset seat-post combined with the saddle being too far back. I have to use a 0 offset with the saddle all the way forward on practically every bike I ride due to inseam/torso ratio. I felt as though I were sitting over the rear wheel. Lovely bike. So high quality it was a little shocking when compared to other brands in a similar price-range. (Typical for Italian bikes, though).

Hmmm. I'm 5'7''. My torso is 58 cm. Inseam 33.3 inches. (Funny how we switch back and forth between metric and 'standard.'
Pedal, I was surprised that you consider this bike to be in the realm of fitting you, although I recognize that we are all different. I'm 5'6" and I'm most comfortable on my 50cm Luna. The top tube of my Luna is much shorter than this one. All this is to say that I think this frame has an EXCELLENT chance of fitting Muirenn...

To be clear, the Cannondale is the 50cm wsd. The Piu was bought, sight-unseen and although I knew it would probably be too big for me, I was swayed by the looks. Figured it wouldn't be my everyday ride, and for special occasions, it was okay if it was a bit too big and if necessary, I could put on a small stem. That being said, I never built it up, so never got a chance to get a feel for the sizing. I do know that most of my other bikes have a TT in the 51-52.5cm range. My Colnago C50 that I ride every day has a 52 tt (non-sloping) and the Cannondale has a 51.5 tt. My C40 Colnago also has a 52 tt. All my other bikes are sloping, so don't want to confuse the issue further.

I think it's time Muirienn took a trip to South Florida!

Oh. my. gosh. I'm between a 48 and a 50 (my Bianchi is a 50, but it runs a bit small), so I think it's too big for me, but boy would I love to make her mine. Sigh......

For reference, my (sloping) Bianchi XL is a 50, and my 928 is a 48. (Can you see a trend here... and why I need to thin out the collection????)

My Bianchi is a WSD Eros Donna. If memory serves, the WSD geometry, at least for 2006, was different from the "unisex" bikes. I know for sure that a 53 TT would be too long for me and my short stubbly legs need a sloping TT.

That would fit me perfectly, by the looks of it. Good thing I have no money to buy parts!

Just sold my own Cannondale... BUT, I didn't get any bids on the Piu. I'll be relisting it, so think about it. Really, if you have any questions, let me know and I'll do my best to answer them. Like I said, I would much rather she goes to someone I "know" than a stranger. I would just love to see it built up!

For the love of N+1 someone BUY this frame!!! It's not even remotely my size, I don't even usually LIKE pink, and I keep looking at the darn thing! It needs Campy parts and a rider NOW!
