    Thanks Trek. Love the look. The moustache bars really give a bike character as well as being functional I think. I like the idea of a fixed gear bike too but 1) don't have the skills, esp for riding in traffic and 2) I've got hills and age has caught up with my 40 something knees.

    The main components on my bike still work beautifully except that the gear shifter is worn now and a problem developed with the indexing recently. I quite like the current semi friction shifting effect but it's not meant to work that way and it's a matter of time before it packs up. Campy shifters can be rebuilt I understand but I can't do it and I'm not sure it's worth the cost. Also, this way I get a new (ish) bike!
