Nancy Clark had a column today that among other things suggests

use the referral network at www.SCANdpg.org to find a local registered dietitian who is a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (RD CSSD)

Also - @Catrin, I don't remember which thread it was you posted in, but I knew instinctively it wasn't right to eat less on rest days, and Clark confirms this. Rest days are when your muscles and bones heal and re-build themselves stronger, and they need nutrition to do it!

My nutritionist was the one who put that idea into my head - she recommended 1,600 calories on non-ride days and 2,200 calories on long-ride days - INCLUDING what I have on the bike Considering that I have burned almost that amount on a ride there is something very wrong with that advice. She may know a lot of things but apparently doesn't understand the demands of endurance cycling.

I am currently reading Nancy Clark's book on nutrition for cyclists, and also have a book titled "Ride Your Way Lean" by Selene Yeager. I am following my nutritionists advice on some things, but am getting information elsewhere. Thank you for the link!
