My newish bike: 2010 Orbea Diva

    Hi all,

Here is a picture of my fairly new, about 3 months old, road bike. It's a '10 Orbea Diva with full Ultegra 6700 gruppo. It has carbon stem, handlebar, and seatpost. The bike shop that I ordered it from did a great job of customizing it to fit me. I was going to wait for the 2011 Orca Dama but I would have to sacrifice the fit. So I opted to get this Diva with a 46cm frame and 650c wheels. I am extremely happy with it. I haven't been able to ride it as much as I want because of the weather and short daylight. I can't wait until the new wheels come and hopefully by then, I can start riding as often as I can!

Thumbs up Enjoy your new bike!

Enjoy your new bike! What wheels did you order?

I just built up a new wheelset (DT Swiss RR465 rims, DT Swiss 32 hole front / back 240 hubs, and 3x DT Competition spokes) and it's definitely hard to wait to try them out, stupid winter!

    Beautiful!

And if you don't mind my asking - what are your plans for the stock wheels when you get your new ones?

    LiveToRide:

I bought the zipp 404 tubular 650c wheels but I love your new wheels! They look like they're ready to tackle anything you give them.

    rudywagon:

Thanks! They're Topeak Pro Pack. I got them because they won't scratch my seat post and they look pretty cool too.

    GLC1968:

I plan on keeping the old wheels as a spare. Since the new wheels have a deep profile and I'm very light, I think I will have to rely on the stock wheels when it's windy out.

And thanks everyone for your nice comments!

Zipp 404s are a great wheelset! They would've been on my list if I had been looking for a wheelset with a deeper profile this time around...I hope you'll add some more pictures once you get them on your bike!? And thank you! A good all around wheelset was what I was going for with this build.

I saw that bike sitting in a bike shop when it first came out. It is an eye-catcher! The had it on display right by the front door and it is definitely an OOOHHH, AHHHHH bike. Simply beautiful........especially with Zip 404's (the Reynolds are great too). Enjoy her!
