Chin-length hair is perfect for me.
Take off the helmet, shake the head, and go!
Shorter looks awesome (I looooooved my 1 inch spikes) but takes a lot of work and "Short Sexy Hair" gel on my head. Longer is nifty, but requires pins and clips and barrettes and combs and thick conditioner to work for me.
The best thing in the world is to have a hairstylist who is an artist with a calling. You tell them what you want functionally, they look at your hair physically, then do magic to give you what will do what you want with the hair that you have. Put yourself in their hands, try what they suggest even if you aren't sure it will work. They know...
I love my hair-chopping-chick. She is worth every penny.
Give credit where credit is due, tip your hairstylist and bring them cookies and beer! They are artists as much as anyone who sells paintings or sculptures! Talent and skill are wonderful things!
