I never used to add milk to oatmeal, but recently started adding a little to cool it off. I do like to add PB or some other nut butter to it - or even just some peanuts or other nuts but the PB is great in it. I do not actually eat rolled oatmeal, but either Trader Joes multi-grain or McCains Irish steel-ground oats.

I made alton brown's steel cut recipe (complete with buttermilk, milk, butter) yesterday and added half a can of pumpkin and more brown sugar than called for. I had 3-4 servings and today I reheated a serving and put it in a mostly-empty barney butter (almond) jar. It was divine.
