This is obviously very frustrating for you and I am sorry you are having to experience this.
I understand you aren't a fan of doctors... neither am I. I really do not like having to see them... at all. Yet, I often do need to see one (or more) and over time... I have found some very good doctors who have my best interest at heart. They have earned my respect and my trust! As Corsair has written... there really are some very good docs out there!
It's truly very difficult to *know* what is going on for you and just *why.*
If it continues, it might be well worth it to seek a consult.
I have carpal tunnel problems; yet, I cannot assume you do, even if the symptoms are similar. I frequently change the positions of my hands/wrists and when it's at it's worst, I wear wrist braces at night. I usually get great "recovery" after a couple of night of having my wrist(s) immobillized while I sleep. I find my CTS symptoms also worsen whenever I have a reason for water retention! This might be due to salt in my diet and/or PMS! (The fluid retention "crowds" the carpal tunnel area more. It doesn't take a significant amount of water retention to make it much worse!)
I hope you recover quickly and never have the problem again!![]()
If you continue to experience problems, I hope you can find someone you can trust to evaluate the problem and can help you out!
Keep us posted as to how you are doing!
