Good luck CC for this weekend!
Looks like the weather will be ok maybe a little warmer than you would like but I know you will have that sorted.

Look forward to hearing a post ride report.

Thanks for your support , tis much appreciated.

Trekhawk-we're venturing out early tomorrow am, setting up & then sleeping for a while. Def staying out of the sun, 32C is hot where the course is. Extra clothes galore are being packed as I know it'll be cool at night.

As long as I remember to keep my cool & focus, i'll be ok.

    5 crazy solo chickas!

    Weeeeeeehar!

P.S. Your goals remind me of what my daughter said about cross country when she first started running: "My goal is to not walk, to not puke, and to finish the race. If I can do that, it's all good!" 3 years later, she's still running.

    oh dear

    Oh dear...

Things didn't go as planned but managed 4 laps. When i'm more awake, i'll post all my thoughts & some pics.

It all came down to not being at one with my bike

Will i do it again solo? YEP! Next year after some serious HTFU training! Twas an awesome challenge & am off to find myself an mtb coach for some more training.

A new bike's in the pic soon too

    Well done CC!
I think 4 laps is a great accomplishment. I bet it was a hot one for you all. I was feeling the heat and I was only working in the garden.

Look forward to hearing your report.

Can't wait to read your report! Good job on just showing up!

I love my 24-hour plan from Coach Lynda: http://lwcoaching.com/ I know many others who've used her 12-hour plans too with great success.
For 3 days, I get to part of a thousand other journeys.
