Well, my vacuum blew up the other day when I was in the middle of cleaning around the fireplace. Needless to say, it was one unholy mess! So now I'm in search of a new one. Don't want to spend a fortune, but want something that will work. What do you use? I have carpet and stairs to maneuver (something that was barely possible with the cheap upright that I had)... any thoughts?
