how about ONURLFT -- drat! that's 7. NURLFT? no one would get it.

mine is VELOGRL, except the O is a heart because someone else in CA already had VELOGRL (the nerve!). I have the motorcycle plate that matches, too, although I finally got rid of my scooter.

In Arkansas, you can use 7 letters, even though the regular plates have 6. Might want to check in your state.

I could have 7 if I was getting a regular personalized plate. However, since I'm getting the breast cancer plate, the pink ribbon takes up one of the spaces for letters.

    Cool!

How does one go about getting a breast cancer license plate? I've never seen them before! Are these specific to MO, or do all states have them?

    I want one!
I'm too tired to think about the wording.. just getting off two long nights of work, but when I'm awake I will consider it again!

I would think that all states have them available. Go to your local dmv (or wherever you renew your license tags, etc. and ask them for a form for personalized plates. We have all kinds of choices to choose from: American Heart Assoc, Breast Cancer Awareness, Children's Trust Fund (this is what I have on the other car), Special Olympics, etc.

It doesn't appear that Washington has a Breast Cancer Awareness plate -- http://www.dol.wa.gov/vehicleregistr...ialdesign.html

I am, however, envious of the fact that Washington does have a Share the Road plate!!

Here in the Hoosier state we do have a breast cancer plate, but nothing cycling related. Boo. Sniff. Sob.

Apologies if someone else already said this...haven't read whole thread...and think you said 8 characters OK?

    What about:

HORS CAT (OK, OK, that might get some strange interpretations!)
    BIG CR
    GO LONG
    PACELINE
    GET AERO
    PEDLDANZ

ETA: oops, just read the post about 7 letters, minus one for the BC ribbon...back to the drawing board! I guess a couple of these could work...
