    I am thankful for my health.
    For a longtime good friend who is now gone, who has left me tremendous funny memories and a life time of laughter!
    For my husband who is SO supportive, no matter what I take on... as long as I try to be on time to whatever I commit to with him!
    For the sunshine that I woke up to today!
    For dinner with good friends, and the margaritas we shared!
    For a job that pays me nicely and leaves me time to really enjoy my life.
    To the mexican restaurant who had food tonight, when my hubby failed to come home with the FISH!
    And last, for finding TE... you guys ROCK!

    I am so happy my mom is going to move home permanently, it will be wonderful seeing her more than three or four times a year!

    I am beyond grateful for the love and companionship of my honey, together we make a beautiful team.

    Today's

    Got in another 50 miler outdoors this morning, no ice, didn't get cold--even hands/feet stayed comfortable;

    Legs are getting very strong from all the big-gear drills;

    Fiona's stitches are healing up and the incision isn't seeping, like I thought it was this morning;

    Temps are rising so the predicted rain won't turn to ice.

    Today I am grateful that we got our ride in before the drizzle started!

    And that I was able to get out and ride at all. I feel healthy, even with all my chronic aches and pains.

    I am grateful that no matter what, life is good.

    Today I'm grateful that I got to have lunch with two good friends, one of whom I haven't seen since before Christmas.

    And that I have a good job so I can go to Whole Foods and buy lots of expensive groceries and special tasty dog food to entice my sick boy to eat.

    I am thankful today for feeling good again. For my husband, who always supports me. For being in the position to be able to quit my job to go back to school next September. For being able to ride outside TWO times in February, here in freezing New England.

    Today I'm grateful for my very heterodox spiritual upbringing, which has given me the ability to find some enlightenment in a variety of spiritual practices.

    And for fresh homegrown strawberries from the jar on the porch

    I am thankful that it was a flat-out gorgeous day here in the Pacific Northwest and we went out for a 30 mile tandem ride, and saw gazillions of families with little kids.

    I am thankful that my neighbor showed me the very large, really beautiful witch hazel plant she bought at the local nursery for 30% off (Ruby Glow, at Skye, for anyone who needs to know), because I am going to go buy one tomorrow.

    I am thankful today that there are creative people in the world who create recipes and share them with the rest of us. Like the one for the peanut butter coffee cake I just made, which will make my coworkers happy tomorrow.

    And I am thankful for my Kitchenaid mixer, which makes baking fun.

    And I am thankful that it's a gorgeous 60 degree day here today, so I can ride my bike into the office to drop off the cake and print out my W-2, which I can't find here at home.

    And I am thankful for TaxCut software, which has made my life so much easier for the past 10 years.

    Today I am thinking about the Silver family's funeral, and I am thanking the Lord for the time I got to spend with my own Mom and Dad before they went.

    I thank Him for those moments last night in the woods of deep silence with the moon on the mountains and the snow, to clear my head for the coming week.

    I thank Him for truly caring colleagues who care about me as a human being before they care about me as a mortgage LO or coach.

    And, as my Mom used to say..."You know, I love men, but I thank God I'm not one!" LOL, me too, Mom!
