I couldn't do this...I know my weight fluctuates up to 3 lbs. or more during the day.
The best thing for me to maintain a good healthy weight (other than just good diet) is for me to have so much fun cycling or another physical activity for a few hrs., that I'm not paying attention to my weight...and end up losing it/maintaining it ok in the end.
It possible I have gained weight now or not. I'm not sure. Last weigh-in was about 3 wks. ago. Since we lack floor space in bathroom, we keep the scale on a shelf in a storage closet.
True, I have gone for 4 months and have forgotten to weigh myself.
So in interim, I just wear clothing that tends to fit me and a few pieces that are well-fitted which I enjoy wearing. These help remind me of any umm...expansion.Very loose clothing does not look good on me anyway, given a petite short bone frame. So yea, my objective is to still fit clothing from 10-15 years ago....which I deliberately keep such pieces.
