    A $7 mixte?

Does anybody know anything about this bike? I've never heard of the brand before. Is it American made, meaning: will finding parts be easy or difficult? I've been wanting a mixte, but settled for another bike instead. I would like to buy this one, but don't know if it's worth anything. I'm sure it'll need a new chain, new tires and brake pads. The usual. I wish I hadn't looked at this, because now I want it. And I've already got 5 bikes of my own in the house. If I came home with this one, DH would come unglued. My dream is to open a recycled bike store that only sells used bikes. If I start my collection now, I should be ready to open in about 5 years...

What do you mixte pros think?

    I'd buy it for $7.

And then you can open a bike store like this: www.recycledcycles.com

I would buy any bike for $7. The kickstand is worth that much.

You can't go wrong for $7.00 - even if you didn't want to keep it, you could clean it up and put a new saddle on it, and probably turn around and sell it for alot more. Just my 2 cents. Keep us posted what you decide you do.

Go ahead and buy it and then send it my way if you don't like it!
