I played World of Warcraft while the forums were down. No housework. No xmas shopping. No biking. No reading.

I was visiting my family which is a good thing. But now I've got a weekends of cleaning, remodel prep and more to catch up on.

I don't know why I didn't do housework when the forums were down. Ugh.

Housework? Why didn't I think of that?
Instead, I read by the fire and took little catnaps on Saturday. I really enjoyed my laziness after being misplaced by the ice storm power outage for a week.

Not bloody likely over here with freezing sleet, wind, ice coating everything all weekend and temps down in the teens!
I had a head cold anyway so I just stayed home and worked. I did get my snowshoeing in on Friday, and might venture an icey/snowy hike this afternoon if the sun comes out.

I did buy an Ibex loden wool jacket while the forum was down though.... ;-)

Managed to get the studded tires on front and back of the Gazelle and get out to the LBS for the Indoor Time Trials, the first of three which is good 'cause that young whippersnapper who went after me beat me (She worked harder to do it, I tell myself ) So I am motivated now to
a: drop a few pounds between now and next month
b: ride fast! ... or just hard, since in this stuff there ain't no goin' fast about it.

Very strange, but last night right when I clicked on the link announcing that the forums were back up the neighborhood lost power. I had never realized that TE was that powerful!
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...
