Purty bikes, MDs has a similar colour scheme to my Giant... veeeery nice.

Bene's coda sport... black and red is always stylish, a sweet looking bicycle.

However, Elk's Aurora does appeal to me most - and this is surprising because brown is not my fave colour... but this bike is such a delightful combo of shades I think of full-cream chocolate, and who's not to love chocolate???

I'm probably biased at a glance at these pics because I prefer drops on a bike anyway...

Lurve bike porn... keep it coming (were we going to ask for a "Bike Porn" forum?)

    More Jamis Bikes!

Where's that pink Venture? No one else has an AUrora? what?

I am laid up in bed with a wicked bad cold and all I can do is IMAGINE rding my new bike... Had to call in sick --don't even have the energy to level my Brooks by the nose....)

I guess I'll just have to wait for more photos and perhaps do a little online shopping......

I saw some gorgeous mahogany golf club grip tape...but how much of that stuff do you need for handlebars?

I LOVE rich brown colors....the shellac only goes to amber though...hmmmm what color would I shellac over to get brown....

Elk, what a crummy time to get sick. The more you rest, the quicker you'll be back in the saddle.

RoadRaven, you're one of those enablers, arent' you?

Those acorn bags DO look nice! I emailed the guy and he and his wife make them. They really look nice from the pics and judging by his feedback, they must be quality items!

NO! I'm not and I'm damn ...well...I'm just gonna have to ride it out. But I sure do appreaciate your thinking of me!

Lying in bed....reading. Getting in trouble shopping...I went ahead and bought the Brooks tape (47.00!!!), looking at wool, saddle bags....

The hardest part is that we've had this unusually sunny and glorious autumn and I think it's ending...and I haven't gotten on my new bike once since it came home...

Send me some great shopping links?!?!?!?!

maybe maybe later this afernoon I can just go up the street and back!!
    wah
(funny thing is I hardly ever get sick...and this is a doozy)

You know if you get a new bike the weather never cooperates......or you get sick.

I think you should shop TE because you'll get the package pretty darn quick and that will make you feel better.

Poor Elk. I hope you feel better fast. It's beautiful weather for riding today. Blossom went to the shop today to get all spiffed up. I pick her up at 4:00. It's like getting a new bike.
