    We do not ride competitively, just for fun, but want to be a little faster so we can ride farther, etc. Any ideas?
    Have you considered a compact frame road bike? Trek Pilot, Giant ocr 1,2,3 the top tube slants down and gives you a more upright feel while still giving you a speedy machine. The trek 1000 is a standard diamond frame. Just a thought. Jenn

    Thank you. The LBS guy said it was in EXCELLENT condition and he can hardly believe it was used. It's a 2004, but he says they haven't changed any, except maybe the seat post is carbon on the newer ones. I'm so excited about it I can hardly contain myself. What a steal I got!
