St. Louis - Paid $3.10 for gas at Sam's club - usually the cheapest around. I couldn't believe it cost $40 to fill up my little Honda CRV.
To top it off, I have a terrible, vicious cold. I'm not able to even ride the measly 2 miles to work.

Front page of our paper today - Kelowna has dubious distinction of having highest gas prices in Canada. (Probably in North America too)

Almost £4 per gallon in my town and in some places over £4 per gallon ($8+).
I've driven approximately 250 miles since Sunday. Two trips to the airport picking up my brother then taking him back, an 80 mile round trip to the hospital (my brother has just been tissue-typed to see if he's a suitable kidney donor for my son - we'll have the results next week sometime). The cost in diesel alone has been £85 and I've really missed not cycling this week.
Never mind, I'm back on my bike in the morning
There are a lot of unwanted, unloved bikes out there - go on give a bike a good home

It ranges from $2.98 to $3.14 here in Baton Rouge. I sure wish I could bike commute!
