Mr. Silver hasn't gotten his new bike yet. And I haven't figured out how to get our new pic into the avatar. It keeps saying it's too big. so here's it is for you all to see.

Great pic Silver! You need to reduce the file size. I usually do that in adobe photoshop. You can both change the size by going to image size, and also when you save as jpg tell it low, med, high resolution until it is both small enough AND legible. I usually do a combination of the above two methods.
Mr. Silver, I bet you can't wait to get your new ride!!!!!!!!!!

I know how to reduce the image size and how to crop but I don't see any way to reduce the resolution. I do not have Adobe photoshop. I'm using HP image zone and photobucket.

You guys look great...but I can't see your bikes!!!

Congrats on your new record! I agree...keep posting those milestones. It think it's motivational.

I also live at the top of a good sized hill but at least it's pretty short. I have to go down it and then back up on the other side on rides that I leave from my house. It's tough to climb up that first one when you aren't even warmed up yet. And coming back you know you have to face that climb. But I try to not brake coming down the hill...but there's a pretty good turn at the bottom of the hill before climbing back up to my house. If I can maintain my speed it makes the climbing a lot easier. If the road was in better shape it wouldn't be so sketchy. Makes the end of the ride interesting.

Mr. and Mrs. Silver you both look fantastic.

Sorry, I have no idea how to make pictures smaller. DH usually handles those things. Oh I know, I should learn.

Great job, Mr. S! And you look quite fit and trim. Can you spread some of your cycling enthusiasm to my new BF?

BTW, I have the hill climbing cassette, and I still can't climb. Heh.

    Roll Tide!!!!

Ahhh BAMA fans!! Almost moved there, friends nephew goes there, love the tide. I wear my Bama shirt with pride!

And I had to laugh when Lisa SH posted that picture... I am the one on the left! I swear!! The bugger thing about it is since I'm short, my legs just look fat most of the time. But when You get up close you realize, no those really ARE all (well mostly) muscle! My running coach teases me about my calves! He says thats how he recognizes me in a race! OY!!
And the body builders at the gym drool over them. I'm not so impressed!! I do NOTHING to encourage them! sigh....
