Heh. I had similar thoughts the first time I went exploring down in that area.
Mad: I figured that even if their friends didn't hang around, at least there are phones at River Riders and they could call someone for help. But there were still buses coming back from the pick-up point, so it's possible the friends hadn't even come back yet. A sign that I've possibly been spending too much time in West VA: As I was listening to their tale of woe, I caught myself thinking "Sheesh. City-folk..."
