Mimi, Can't believe you ddin't know who Mattie was. I think we had a thread about him and Lance last fall.
I don't know who he is either. Why is he "the sexiest man alive"?? What has he done? No offense, but he looks too "male model-y" for my taste.
I guess I don't watch the kind of films he stars in.
I think Sean Connery is sexier... even at 77.

And who is this "Lance" fellow anyway? What's HE done?

Lance is most definately not my type. Then again, I get all excited over Johnny Depp and more bohemian sorts. How could you *not* admire this?
    or this ?

Just... sayin'. It might be an age or style thing, and yes I know this is hot male 'riders' but you know what? You put Depp in lycra and... I dunno that anything in the world would be quite the same again...

No offense intended, just my own opinion....but I once had a neighbor who was a pimp who looked just like that! Eeeew.... Shades of "Prince"... He can't even grow a real beard!
I'd rather see Johnny Depp in mothballs than Lycra. (Though David Bowie "did" lycra pretty well in Labyrinth, I thought.)
I agree- must be an age/style thing. I don't go for guys that look like I could deck them with a well placed left hook.

That photo of Depp is to simply gorgeous. Personally I think spandex/lycra/kit would ruin the entire vibe. A pair of faded, perfect fitting jeans, an old T shirt.. the right smile..

    Same here.
The only shots I have of him are when he's wearing lots of layers from a horrible rainy ride - not exactly a show-off-to-the girls kind of picture.
I'll have to bring the digi-cam on the next ride and take some pix of the Castelli scorpion while, uh, drafting!

And, I'm afraid I'd have to agree more with Lisa SH (gasp! ) - I go for the rugged "classic" good looks over the Johnny Depp-androgynous look. Seventy-seven may be pushing it...but there are still plenty of examples out there.

Sean Connery could be my grandfather but in many respects, he's still sexy. perhaps moreso than the new 007. Sorry.

I <3 androgynous guys... I s'ppose to each her own, but I don't favor the big hairy musky men with bushy beards and missing-link body hair. ...and I'm *more* disturbed when such guys *shave* or *wax* everything.
Well trimmed facial hair, just long enough to be soft to kiss... then everything els as-is.
Depp and Bloom are sexy in that 'oh, so pretty...' way, but maybe I should just stick with the chixxors.

CWR - I'm with you on that one. I currently find him the sexiest celeb out there. Prior to him, it was Nicholas Cage. That says a little something about my taste. Definitely not into the pretty boy look. But I do find Johnny Depp quite hot. But if I had to pick a younger one to drool over, it would be Orlando...

Daniel Craig: THE most amazing blue eyes I've ever seen. That alone puts him in a category by himself.

Since we are kinda off track from the lycra clad hotties, am I alone in thinking that Jude Law is just gorgeous, along with Leonardo DiCaprio?
