My roommate has had both hips replaced, and he doesn't think Floyd can come back either. But I think that's more his cycling-ignorant orthopedist talking, who warned him against ever riding again.

Personally, I think Floyd will come back better than ever since he'll be pain free.

i think floyd will come through easily with his attitude (aka stubborn). i believe its all about what you think of things.

my dad (very stubborn) had his hip replaced and he was up the same day walking around. bf (even more stubborn) broke his femur in 3 places. dr told him he may not walk again, or if he did it would be years. he's completed and won tris after the accident. though he did start cycling again before he could really walk and that wasn't long after he got discharged from the hospital.
