Ok, so I've been agonizing over the HD taking over the 8x20 shed and displacing the lawn mower. It's a nice lawn mower, from Sears, with a 52" deck- it's big! It's one of my first grown up by myself purchases post-DH. It's been raining every day since we got the HD. The mower has been out in the rain. We need to buy another shed for the HD so it can live in luxury away from the dangerous bikes and dive gear and all that. But money doesn't grow on trees, and even rent to own, you still need the first and last months' payments.

So this afternoon, I get home, and it's starting to rain, (and Lise, the DVDs have returned safely! Guess what I'm doing tonight!) and I thought, hey, what if I put up the old tent that's too sh*tty to use any more, but too beloved to just throw away? It would make a good lawn mower house! So I did!! BF is going to be surprised when he gets home...

Mmm, lasagna in the oven, freshly-done nails (nothing is better!!), my choice of either Lindemans Shiraz or Merlot, both are cold (have to put in fridge, room temp here is 78F, too warm for wine drinking- and it warms up fast in the glass), no more lawn mower anxiety, probably there will be slugs out after the rain for Fagalo, or else I managed to find a box of nightcrawlers at Petsmart which he also enjoys when it's not the right time of day for slugs. If it would just stop sprinkling, I could take the torts out to graze. I have _four_ new books to read- three about cycling, and also "Party of One, the Loner's Manifesto" which was recommended on the ultrarunning list. (See, it's a sign that I will enjoy that book because I'd rather sit on the patio with Dill and the torts than go out).

Last night we watched "The Green Mile." I read it when it was first published as a serial novel- that was so cool! The movie is true to the book. Even though I've seen it a few times, and have it memorized, I still bawled my eyes out at the end.

But tonight it's IM 2005!!
