my comment about WWII was not to offend anyone. it was just that i watched a thing on the history channel about WWII a couple of days ago and that was my first thought. it looks like any war helmet (and it doesn't matter which war, think they are still using similar hemets now but more high tech) it actually reminds me more of jesse james, though i can't stand him anymore. was nice to look at for a while though....
i really like the helmet because of the studs on the side. as far as practicality though... agree. no face coverage. i've seen some greusome things with no face protection or helmet.
not that i'm one to talk about helmets. i've finially purchaced one for my mtb after having it for a year and a half (its in the mail somewhere) and i ride a quad (atv) to work without a helmet.
