Cheers Nanci.![]()
Drink coffee and do stupid things faster with more energy.
Thanks Nanci! I just saw that her brother completed the 1st segment of the bike course (53mi) in 3:07. She hadn't come through yet. Isn't there someone else in her family that is racing? I can't remember for sure.
Either her mother or an aunt, I believe..?

Mom and aunt. I never saw them come out of the swim, but haven't rechecked. The Internet at work today is horrible.

GO TRIFLOR!!! I'm sending you iron vibes!!
Also Christine webb the reporter that was in the documentry 140.6 is racing again as well. Her # is 95. She was my TOTAL inspiration. I STILL cry at the end of 140.6 when she crosses the line after not making it the year before.
BTW- you can go here :

to see the 140.6 documentry. I think they have the entire thing on there for another day or so. It's about an hour long, but VERY cool!!
And Fred Arden is a fellow TNO'er... (tri newbies online) that goes by the moniker not so fast freddie... But really he IS!!
She's finished with the bike in 8:39.
Christine Webb is the health reporter here at WHAM-13 here in Rochester. She lost a lot of weight in between her first attempt and her second success at the IM, so impressive! She goes to my gym, nice girl. Can't wait to see how she does today...

Where is she? It doesn't have posted her first half mare time. I'm worried about her. I've seen a few of my friends finish, but don't know where she's at. Where are you, Triflor?

I agree song lady! When I watched 140.6 I felt like I was watching myself! Tho I still have lot's more to lose! But She sure does inspire me!
If you should ever have the chance to speak to her at the gym, let her know that there is a fellow Ironman in Arizona that she inspired to get to the line!
And yeah, I STILL bust into tears everytime I watch her finish at the end of 140.6!!!
way to go triflor. you are awesome and an inspiration.
