    Grrrr...ebay rant!

I am a huge ebay fan, especially when it comes to cycling clothes. So I was EXTREMELY dissapointed to find tonight that they have rearranged the cycling section and have removed "apparel" from the choices to search for. Basically this means you have to now do a basic "sporting goods" search or look under the "other" category specific to cycling. Stuff is all over the place now! How will I ever find all the deals???

    bad move by ebay

Yep, and they changed the categorization for bikes -- basically, eliminating the size categories (everything shows as "Other" now). So, instead of being able to browse through all the 48-49cm sized road bikes, you have to "search" for sizes, which pulls up a million hits of the wrong type.

Ugh. I won't have the time or patience to browse there anymore, seems like a bit step backwards on their part! Hopefully enough people will complain (I would think sellers would hate it!) and they'll change it back to the way it was...

I didn't even notice that yet! But you bet I ripped off an email complaint to them immediately. I would think this would upset both buyers and sellers alike!

I noticed that, too! I sent an email to Ebay 2 days ago and got a response last night that didn't really say anything other than that they are making some changes and to use the search command to type in specific key words. UGHHHH! What a nightmare. This is definitely going to effect their business. I'm sure both buyers and sellers are annoyed.

It's going to affect their business in that it's going to effect customer departure - unless it makes it easier for some bigger segment. Yukkers.
