Your biggest challenge isn't someone else.
It's the ache in your lungs and the burning in your legs and the voice inside that yells "CAN'T".
But you don't listen. You just push harder.
And then you hear the voice whisper "CAN".
And you discover that the person you thought you were is no match for the one you really are.

How sick am I? The first thing I thought when I saw Lance on the bike was, "Where can I buy those shorts and jersey?"![]()
Hit it like a freight train, Tiffanie.![]()

They were in Los Angeles for the filming of the ESPY Awards on July 11th. It looks like they were running along Mulholland Drive, a very long road which runs along the top of the mountain that divides West Los Angeles from the San Fernando Valley.Originally Posted by Lise
The picture in the rain is yummy!
The fourth guy in the pic, who is it? It seems like a real cyclist who's had some serious time to develop the leg muscles (just in comparison to Jake and Matt).
Is it weird that I think Floyd Landis is kinda cute? I think it's because he sort of looks like hubby. But I keep getting all giggly anytime he's on TV. Probably inappropriate considering why he's on TV. D'OH!![]()
I'll second that one Brandi!!!Originally Posted by Brandi
Seems like the only folks who make me go "jello-y in the legs" are real ones. (Eye candy like photos of a certain triathlete, though... well, it's darn close)
Which makes it rather hard to hold a conversation as I'm trying not to swoon or throw myself into their arms or giggle and blush like a 14 year old.![]()
Darn, wasn't that adolescent stuff s'posed to end about 25 years ago?
