Another Newbie here.I have been biking for 4 days now and I am starting to feel more comfortable. I found TE yesterday by sure good luck. I am a 37 year old SAHM of 3, wife, and I am owned by a cat.

I am looking forward to learning a lot about the world of biking and how to work my way up to longer distance biking. As I mentioned, I am brand new to biking. The boys and my husband went out one day and came home with a Giant Suede for me to learn on. So, here I am ready to learn and meet other bikers and someday work my way up to a racing bike (I have no idea what type, I have a ways to go before that leap).
Anyway, I am glad to be here.

Welcome! I'm a SAHM of three as well...how old are your kids? Mine are 8, 6 and almost 4.
I'm impressed that you can find time to ride with 3 young kids. I was always finding excuses when my girls were little (they're 20 and 22 now), and even with an 8 year old at home, it's hard to ride every day. Good for you both!!
I am indeed hoping to learn wonderfully new, addicting habits. :-)Originally Posted by Kitsune06

I was the only non-biker in the family. My oldest is almost 14 and my twins are almost 12. They decided mom needed to learn to bike Ohio with them.Originally Posted by kelownagirl

I don't know how you SAHM's do it. Hardest. Job. Ever. I truly envy your abundance of patience.
Good luck with your biking endeavors Jennifer!
Thank You. :-)
WELCOME!!!
We have a great bunch here! I have forged some great friendships here, hope you do as well.
Of course I think the lack of humidity in the desert has fried my brain cells! It took me about 5 minutes to figure out what a SAHM was!!!![]()
I would be more than happy to share some humidity with you. I am looking forward to meeting new biking friends. Currently the only people I know who bike are my husbands and sons.
