Plate: Very cool! Is it yours, Nanci? Is the pigeon part of the plate, or was it very artistically added on?

Of course it's mine! I photoshopped a pic of Dill to match the plate. I have to replace it pretty often. There is a sea turtle underneath. Florida has about nine billion specialty plates.

Wow. Florida has *100* specialty plates. I counted. That's amazing. Yours is #101, really. So cool that you created that Dill sticker so perfectly. I remain in awe of photoshop.

In Chicago, there's a big difference (in our minds) between North side and South side. It's as if we were rival nations sometimes. I have friends and colleagues from the South side. I'm sure they say, "Hey! Some of my friends are North siders!" (Believe it or not, this is a story about photoshop) The other night, my boss/friend (who's a South sider all the way) and I are talking outside after the staff meeting. A medium sized rat scuttles by and down the alley. Doesn't bother me. She's a bit freaked by it, and says "That rat was huge! We don't have rats like that on the South side!" Of course they do. And it wasn't even that big. Anyways, I wanted to make her a picture of a big ol' rat holding a Cubs pennant. (The Cubs play on the N. side, Sox play on the S. side). The caption would be, "See, I told you it was a north side rat!"

Since I don't have the foggiest notion how to do that, I'll make it with the old fashioned cut and paste method--cut out a picture of a rat, paste on a Cubs pennant!

    Cool plate Nanci.

It took me a few moments to get it... *I use to be blond*... but very cool.

Sweet plate Nanci! I have some magazines to send you for our hood. They have pic's from some residents of the wildlife we have up here. This month it was bird themed. When I saw them I thought of you. I thought you would like to see the critters I share my world with.

KSH- At first I wanted PIG EON, but it was already taken. I like PID GIN better now anyway. BF calls me Pid as a nickname all the time. (And Nano...)

RM- THat would be cool! We came within one degree of the record high yesterday- 96. I can't even imagine what 20F+ more would be like. Our humidity was only 48%, though...
