I used to be religious about my gym/weight training workouts...then I found biking.Actually, I still use the gym for upper body and while I always say I'll do one LB workout a week...that's the one I usually miss!
I do try though!!
My general goal during the biking season is three weight workouts per week to hit the full body. Back, biceps, shoulders one day, chest, traps and tris another day and then legs on the third day (with abs each time). The problem is that I've not been able to make a schedule work consistently. Basically, we try to ride when it's nice out and then I try to fit the gym in on the other days. Some weeks, that's only one trip to the gym!![]()
